Mad Midnight Tea !

Happened to stumble across my entry last year for
Vanessa's,  A Fancifull Twist,  Madd Tea Party, so just republished it for fun!

Welcome to my
Mad Midnight Tea!

Under the arbor we enter here,
For an important date,
So don't be Late!

Moon Shine Moon, this Mad Midnight Tea Night,
Fill my garden with Tea delights,
Special guests, Faeries and Sprites,
Welcoming all to join this Fanciful Flight!

Follow the paths with the lanterns Bright,
To the Midnight Tea coming into sight,

On our way we stop at the door of,

Madame Flora,  Gypsy of Fortune !

Wind along the path, Continue on until you find .........

The Sign.........,

And he is  Here!

Table set, Candles lit,
The Mad Midnight Tea Appears!

Treats to eat and Special Tea's to drink, A spell or two would also do,

Lavender Mint Tea:

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
4 teaspoons of dried lavender flowers
1/2  teaspoon of minced  fresh rosemary
4 cups of boiling water
2 teaspoons of honey, optional
Place ingredients in tempered tea pot, pour boiling water over,
let steep 10 minutes, strain as you pour tea in your cup!
,

Hazelnut Cardamom Biscotti:

Igredients:
2 cups AP flour
3/4 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon  salt
1 1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cups chopped hazelnuts

Directions:
Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and cardmom.
Mix together sugar and eggs. Add vanilla, then flour mixture, stir in hazelnuts.
With moist hands, divide dough in half. Form two equal mounds, about one inch high,
Sprinkle mounds with sugar.
Bake 30 minutes, Cut mounds into 3/4 inch diagonal slices,
put on baking sheet and bake another 20 to 25 minutes, let cool and serve

Mad Tea Night
With Moon so Bright

Making mischief, fortunes and spells,
To celebrate this Date!
